British woman, who was recently abducted from Kenya-Somali border by armed gunmen after killing her husband, has been transferred to Amara area in Galgudud region of central Somalia.
Local residents told Shablle Media Network that heavily armed Somali pirates with battle wagons spotted at Amara area, adding that the security of was tightened there.
Somali pirates holding Judith Tebbutt were not so far available to comment on the matter.
Tebbutt is believed to be in her mid fifties looked exhausted and weak, reliable persons told Shabelle.
Armed sea gangs had kidnapped a British couple from the border between Somalia and Kenya who had reportedly killed her husband David during in the kidnap.
British Prime Minister David Cameron on Wednesday pledged to do everything possible to help find the abducted British woman.
